Mission Statement
AgriTec Systems, Inc. creates value by converting agricultural wastes (biomass) to valuable specialty chemicals and commodities by utilizing its patented, cost-effective technology.
Company Overview
AgriTec Systems, Inc. is a Delaware corporation with two wholly owned operating subsidiaries, AgriTec, Inc. and enviroLife, Inc. AgriTec, Inc. has a history of developing and is in the final stages of commercializing patents and other technology related to the use of agricultural wastes as raw materials. Most of the development to date has been concerned with processing rice hull ash (RHA) – the waste product from rice mill cogeneration businesses that use rice hulls as their primary fuel stock.
AgriTec has been granted twenty patents and has 56 patents pending on a worldwide basis, encompassing various uses of the amorphous silica and activated carbon that collectively comprise over 99% of the composition of RHA. These patents and patents pending include uses in production of silicates, silicas, activated carbon and associated products, such as fine-celled foam, plant growth media and insulation.
AgriTec has historically been involved in the development of technology and currently is devoting substantially all its efforts and resources to commercializing its patented technology relating to the production of liquid silicates and activated carbon.

Research and development has been the foundation of our companies for many years and we will continue to focus our efforts and resources on development of improved processes and products. The technologies that are in our development pipeline include:
Development of granules and pellets from our naturally occurring powdered activated carbon.
Development of precipitated silica without deposited carbon in various particle sizes for application in the appropriate markets.
Development of precipitated silica with deposited carbon for the tire and rubber industry.
After validating commercial viability of sodium silicate and activated carbon products over the past year, we entered into an agreement with Producers Rice Mill, Inc. resulting in the formation of an Arkansas limited liability company, AgriTecSorbents, LLC. AgriTecSorbents has financed, engineered, constructed and will operate the plant which will manufacture and sell liquid sodium silicate and activated carbon products derived from rice hull ash (RHA) raw materials provided by Producers, utilizing patented technology licensed by AgriTec. The plant is located near Producers' rice mill facilities in Stuttgart, Arkansas. The plant is expected process 12,000 tons per year of RHA, resulting in a design output of 25,000 tons of liquid sodium silicate and 5,000 tons of activated carbon annually.
Construction of the plant began in March 2003 and initial startup began in March 2004, however problems were experienced with the filtration and carbon drying systems and production was suspended until modifications could be made. Modifications have been completed and we anticipate the plant will begin shipments of commercial products early in 2005.
