Ambrian Partners is focused on six industry sectors where we have developed in-depth expertise and relationships.
Ambrian Partners

At 31 December 2006 Ambrian Partners had 35 retained corporate clients.
The expertise of our sector-focused research teams provides Ambrian Partners a competitive edge when competing for corporate and institutional business. Our Equity Research Team provides clients with insightful research on more than 100 companies.
Ambrian covers 135 institutional accounts in England, Scotland and Continental Europe, and provides M&A and financial advisory services to major multinational companies and government agencies as well as to small- and mid-cap companies.
Ambrian Partners’ services include:
Ambrian Commodities
Ambrian Commodities Limited is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Ambrian Capital plc.
Ambrian Commodities, which is authorised by the FSA and is currently a member of the London Metal Exchange (LME), European Climate Exhange (ECX), Powernext and ICE, offers a full range of commodities services including:
Ambrian Commodities started trading in April 2006 with a highly experienced team; since its inception and following our success in the base metals markets, Ambrian has recruited additional traders and sales staff with a high level of expertise to manage and ensure the successful growth across the product base.
Ambrian Commodities is a market maker in carbon emissions contracts and offers futures brokerage services in soft commodities (eg, sugar), grain, and energy products, all of which represent a natural progression for the company. The activity of Ambrian Commodities is strategically positioned to be a natural fit within the Ambrian Capital group of companies to offer both customers and investors an integrated natural resources partner.
Ambrian Asset Management
Ambrian Asset Management Ltd (‘AAM’) is a specialist investment management business and a wholly-owned subsidiary of Ambrian Capital plc.
In November 2006, Ambrian Asset Management Limited launched its first fund: Golden Prospect Precious Metals Limited (“GPPM”), a closed ended, tax efficient vehicle registered in Guernsey and listed on AIM. Ambrian Asset Management earns a management fee and, potentially, a performance fee for providing investment management services to GPPM. The Group transferred into GPPM the bulk of its portfolio of precious metals investments, valued at approximately £9.4 million in return for GPPM shares. We plan to build on this success by launching further funds that complement our expertise in the wider resources sector.
The organisation is able to make use of the extensive skill base by utilising the existing subsidaries of Ambrian Capital:
Ambrian Asset Management is an investment manager authorised and regulated by the FSA (Financial Services Authority).
