The search for a good tasting source of Omega-3’s has been a long one. For those old enough to remember, the main source of this essential nutrient used to be fish oil. Many a poor lad remembers being force-fed this unpalatable concoction – even today, I shudder at the mere mention of “cod liver oil.” A few years ago, a new source came onto the market which flax oil made from flaxseed. While a great leap forward in the palatability department, it was still largely unpleasant to taste. And, like fish oil, flax oil was still unable to be used in cooking – that is, until now.
